BEHIND THE BOOK
About me and Why this Book?
Two Decades in the Room
What is this Project
For over twenty years, I have sat with men, women, and young people in my private practice. I have worked with the “hard to reach.” The discarded. The problematic. The ones the system gave up on.
Through it all, I noticed a pattern. The exhaustion wasn’t just personal. The anxiety wasn’t just a chemical imbalance. The burnout wasn’t a character flaw.
They were all symptoms of the same system. A system that told women to be everything to everyone, told men their only value was what they produced, and told both of them that rest was a reward they hadn’t earned.
I named that system the Clockarchy.
My mission now is simple: to give you the language to name it, the tools to unlearn it, and the permission to stop running.
Why This Matters
I built this ecosystem – the book, and the Journal – for one reason.
I do not want your children in my private practice.
I do not want them sitting on my couch in twenty years, exhausted by a machine they cannot name, convinced it is their fault. I want to break the generational cycle of exhaustion before it reaches them.
There is a larger ecosystem at play that includes a complete series of books that exist: The women’s series. The mother’s bridge exists. The free guides for daughters, The Men’s Book Series, and The series for Relationships and Couples, (coming soon), and it is holistically taking on a system that is depleting our will to live.
The cycle breaks here. In you. In me. In all of us who are willing to say:Â No more.
Away from the Desk
I am not a guru. I do not have all the answers.
When I am not writing or in session, I am learning to code, build websites, and play the guitar badly. I am taking long walks with no destination. I am reading fiction. I am watching the clouds move. I am practicing the Slow Rebellion in my own life, one small choice at a time.
I forget. I fail. I return.
That is the practice. And each day reveals better…
"You cannot give what you do not have. But you can give what you are becoming."
No Hurt. Only Healing.
